Dan Lund

Owner & Founder

Dan Lund is the Owner and Founder of EGA Marine, LLC, and has been active in the marine industry for more than a decade. In 2014, he founded Freedom Boat Club of South Florida (FBCSF) at the Lake Park Town Marina, beginning with just four boats and no members. Through strategic growth and operational excellence, Dan expanded the club to more than 180 boats across 13 locations from Stuart to Pompano Beach.

EGA Marine was originally created to support the maintenance and service needs of that growing fleet. Following the sale of FBCSF in 2024, Dan expanded EGA Marine’s operations to provide full-service maintenance and repair for Freedom Boat Club’s 180+ boat fleet—while also extending services to additional fleet operators and individual boat owners from St. Lucie to Miami-Dade County through multiple locations and mobile service teams.

Beyond his leadership in the marine industry, Dan brings a distinguished background in corporate finance, banking, and real estate development, as well as over 30 years of commissioned service in the U.S. Marine Corps, retiring as a Colonel. A veteran of the Iraq War, he served a 12-month tour as Commander of Forward Operating Base Bucca, the largest operating base in Basra Province.

Dan’s extensive experience in leadership, operations, and strategic growth continues to shape EGA Marine’s mission: delivering trusted, professional, and dependable marine service across South Florida’s boating community.
